Students can participate in GCS Olympiads only through their respective schools. Individual or direct registrations are not permitted. This approach ensures proper coordination, smooth conduct of examinations, and effective communication between the organizing body and participants.
Schools act as the official centers for registration, distribution of study materials, and conduct of examinations. They collect student details, submit consolidated registrations, and coordinate exam schedules as per the guidelines provided by GCS Olympiads. All question papers, answer sheets, and related materials are sent directly to the registered schools, ensuring authenticity and uniformity in the examination process.
On the examination day, the test is conducted within the school premises under the supervision of school authorities, maintaining discipline and transparency. This system also helps in easy distribution of admit cards, certificates, and results to the students through their schools.
Therefore, participation through schools not only simplifies the process but also ensures a structured, secure, and well-organized examination experience for all students.
The GCS Olympiads consist of only two levels of examinations, designed to assess students progressively.
All the Olympiads will be conducted in your school on scheduled dates at your school premises with the question papers and other relevant materials sent to your school by us. There will be question paper cum answer sheets for class 1st & 2nd and OMR answer sheets for 3rd to 12th. Only blue or black ball pens should be used.
The 2nd & final level exam will be conducted for all classes from 1st to 12th. All India ranking between 1st to 20th with minimum 60% marks will be selected for a 2nd & final level examination (tentative date 05-Feb-2027), either in your school or at a centre provided by us in your city. The question papers along with other relevant materials will be sent to your school or provided at our centre.
The GCS Olympiads 1st Level Exam is the initial stage for students to participate in competitive academic contests, with the format and specifics varying by subject. All registered students from Classes 1 to 12 can appear for this level. For most subjects, it's conducted in schools. The 1st level identifies students who will advance to the final, or 2nd level, exam.
Based on the performance in Level 1, students who secure the required qualifying marks (typically 80% or above) become eligible for the Level 2 (Final) Examination. This level is more competitive and is conducted to identify top-performing students at the national level.
The Level 2 Examination is the final stage, where students compete for top ranks such as Class Rank, State Rank, and All India Rank. It helps in recognizing academic excellence and selecting All India Toppers.
Thus, the two-level structure ensures wide participation at the first stage and fair selection of the best performers at the final stage.
The 2nd & final level exam will be conducted for all the classes from 1st to 12th pertaining to all the subjects. Students having a minimum of 80% marks will be selected for the 2nd & final level examination. The 2nd & final level exam will be held in February 2027 (tentative date 05-Feb-2027) to select the All India toppers, either in your school or in a center provided by us in your city.
Register your school today and give your students the opportunity to shine on a national stage. Medals, certificates and scholarships await the best performers.
